What a Day!

pictured: me-n-Hunny - 1996  Santa Monica, CA

Today I went to see the most incredible, deeply moving movie ever made.  Please, if there's only one movie you see for the rest of your life, let it be In America.  A Freeepeace movie review wouldn't do it justice.  Please just take my word for it.  This is how all movies should be made - with heart!  [freakish how much one of the daughters reminded me of me - whoa!]

After the movie I went to Target to buy my Christmas gift from a client.  It was on sale for the exact amount of my gift card! [thank you Deanne, Mark, Isabella and Winnie]  How have I lived so long without a scanner?  Mine's been broken for a couple of years and I didn't really use it much before that - probably because it was pre-AOL-J.  Well, expect to see some baby-freeepeace pics along with some incredible pet photos from years past.

I re-rearranged my entire room today.  I think I like it this time.  I feel my creative juices flowing again!  Amazing what a little Feng Shui will do for the soul.

It's well after 3AM and I'm about to wind down for the night.  Happy Sunday everyone!  ~peace & love ~

Movie title noted. I've also been considering shifting my room all around (it seems to happen every other month). I wish I knew more about Feng Shui!

I'm kinda likin' Freeep version 2.4, not only because you've succumbed to the lure of Reality TV, but also because you seem... um... a little lighter and fluffier lately. Not that I don't love deep freeep! I just believe that everyone needs to scratch the surface tension sometimes.

You had a Baretta too! That was the first ever car
I bought out of nursing school. Mine was maroon,
and after about 3 years, it started falling apart, lol!
Otherwise, it served it's purpose, and saw many a
road trip. Love Hunny, she's so cute!
Scanners are a great invention, looking forward to
seeing more pics. Have fun with it.
Nothing like a little decorating to freshen your soul.
Hope you had a great weekend.
Love, Penny

I got tired of Greg's computer (avec scanner) being "down" so I grabbed the USB cable and plugged that puppy into mine ... so I have a scanner too! Well, I always did, but I mean, now its at MY computer down here in what we call "Command Central"

Love the one of you and Hunny, and can't wait to see more pics!

OK, this is just down right UNFAIR. That picture of you was taken in 1996. It is now 2004 and you look EXACTLY THE SAME! I was trying to find a decent picture of myself recently and there simply aren't any, so I used my last portrait which was taken, ironically, in 1996. Trust me, I look like a totally different chick. Not fair, not fair, not fair!

Irun - thanks love!

Hempen - Let me know if you see In America! I'd like to know more about Feng Shui too!

Grace - LOL "2.4" - Having a TV is dangerous for me. I'm an addict, in recovery! And I'm still "deep freep" even when I'm light and fluffy! :)

Penny - Ahh the Beretta [love those door-handles] Yes, I remember you had one too! Bought mine new in '90 - ran it into the ground in '96. [such a girl!] Whaddya expect from one who bought it for the color? LOL

Karyn - Let's hear it for the USB cable! woohoo :) "command central" LOL

Steven - Just noticed I'm missing a TON of pictures. And going through old pics brings up a lot of BLECH. [lol] Many pet pics though! Tough to choose.

Mara - if you see In America, please review it! I thought of you when I saw it cuz I just wouldn't do it justice. You would! :)

Vonda - Thanks for the kind comment. Keep writing. I've been reading. You're on a great path :) xo

Berly - Hunny is part golden [but small like cocker]. God's perfection! :) Poor Sonny, some cats don't give dogs the time of day.

DiAnne - ROFL - Remember, you're seeing me through webcams and scanners - It's all about the lighting [or lack of] But honestly, I've ALWAYS looked 25 [even when I was 15] Genes I guess. ::shrug::

I haven't heard of "In America" either.. If Trish says it's good, it's gotta be good. Yeah, I love looking through your photos, here, keep'em comin! Better yet, make some coffee, we'll be over and dig through the box w/you! Oh, and you just "look" like a Cali-girl. You are where you belong, girl! Love you! Mia and Stephen

Hey Trish! I got a scanner for Christmas too! I have everything I need, so when Doug kept asking me what I wanted...I finally told him a scanner. It's the only thing I could think of, and it's perfect because now I can post pictures on my journal! =)

Someone else I respected was saying good things about "In America". Somehow I've not even heard of the movie, but such high praise does intrigue me...

Funny how you rearrange things all the time. LOL I would like to rearrange, if only we had room to put stuff any other way. :-/
